COY Paediatric Practice provides healthcare for children from birth to 18 years, aiming to support their optimal development in a friendly environment. Established in 2008 to bring specialist child health services closer to Ghanaian communities, COY began as a part-time outpatient clinic before becoming a full-time clinic in 2012.
Now operating two sites in Tema—Community 6 (opened March 2014) and Community 25 (opened June 2018)—COY has grown into a trusted hospital for expert paediatric care in the region. The practice offers both hospital-based and community-based services focused on the wellbeing and growth of every child.
Hospital-based services consist of specialist general paediatric care, growth monitoring and support for newborns and infants, neurodevelopmental assessment, sickle cell, asthma and allergy clinics, laboratory services, and pharmacy. Additional services include behaviour therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and physiotherapy.
Community services comprise school health screenings for new students, annual medical checks for school children focusing on vision, hearing, and dental care, as well as health education, awareness initiatives, and health fairs.

Dr. Mrs. Christina Osei-Yeboah
Medical Director
A Consultant Paediatrician and Public Health Specialist with 2 decades plus experience in service. A Fellow of both the West African College of Physicians and the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. Actively involved in the training and examination of Paediatrician in Ghana and the West African subregion. She is also a Public Health M&E expert in the subregion. Her rich experience in Paediatrics and Public health enables her to ensure all medical services address the needs of clients. Her love and passion for the wellbeing of children is infectious.
Mrs. Caroline Duamroh
Nurses Manager
Caroline is a dedicated nurse with over 15 years of experience, 13 of which have been spent in the paediatric department. She holds a BSc in Nursing and is an associate member of the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives, where she also served as a preceptor for 2years, mentoring the next generation of nurses.Caroline’s commitment to excellence in nursing has been recognized with several awards, including Best Nurse Ledzokuku Krowo District (2022) and Second Best Nurse Greater Accra Region (2022). Caring for children is her passion. She believes that every child deserves love, attention, and support to reach their full potential, and she brings this philosophy into her daily work with patients and families
Dr. Stephanie Arko–Dontoh
Clinical Manager
compassionate medical doctor with years of experience in clinical practice. She earned her MBChB in Europe and developed a strong passion for child health. With diverse, multicultural training in paediatrics, she is dedicated to ensuring high-quality care for every child. Her dedication is reflected in her role at COY, where she ensures that every client is attended to by a qualified doctor. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she plays a key leadership role as the liaison between management and the team of prescribers. She is also responsible for overseeing the continuous medical education and welfare of COY doctors, upholding the clinic’s standards of excellence in paediatric care.
Mrs. Rhoda Engmann
Accounts Manager
Rhoda is a detail-oriented Account Manager with over 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management. She holds a BSc in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting and Finance and is currently in the final stage of qualifying with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA). She is known for efficiently managing multiple client portfolios through her organized approach, reliability, timely reporting, accurate record-keeping, and proactive communication. Rhoda brings clarity and professionalism to every engagement, her commitment to service excellence, combined with a strong work ethic, has earned her the trust and confidence of both clients and colleagues.

Head of Pharmacy
Licensed Pharmacist with expertise in medication management, patient counselling and promoting safe, effective use of medicines. She holds a BSc. In Pharmacy. Passionate about improving healthcare outcomes through evidence-based practice, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Skilled in prescription verification, drug utilization review and inventory control., with a strong commitment to accuracy, compliance and patient safety.
